Coogee is a beautiful beachside location with its proximity to Sydney’s CBD, and the wide variety of both outdoor and indoor activities and experiences on the Eastern Suburbs coastal doorstop, ensures its popular ranking with families all year around.

To keep the kids entertained these July school holidays, here is our top list of things to see and do:

Ice-skating by the beach

It’s also the perfect vantage spot to look out for whales during their annual migration – spot them heading north from May to mid-July. Pick a spot along the 6km of picturesque coastal path, bring your binoculars and a picnic lunch, and there is no better way to spend the day.
