We're building for the future & embarking on an exciting renovation

Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach is embarking on an exciting renovation as part of our ongoing commitment to adapt, innovate and transform, to meet the needs of the upscale traveller. We will be creating contemporary new business and leisure spaces for guests to work, network and play, with the main project works will be completed in phases from June 2019 to January 2020. And just in time for the Festive season, there will be no noisy construction works from December 20 to January 5, so our guests can enjoy the peace and serenity of this special time of year.  ​


Will the hotel close down?

During the renovation period, the hotel will remain open; however will operate with limited Hotel Facilities.


Will there be noise?

Works will take place from 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, and 9:30am to 4:00pm on Saturdays. At times we anticipate there will be some noisy works between these hours, however we will ensure peaceful restoration, outside of these times.


What’s going to be different?

Our Guest Rooms are being re-imagined with a redesign and fit-out of bathrooms, as well as premium beds, carpet, drapes and a subtle colour palette that compliments the blues hues of our stunning beachside surrounds. We have worked hard to blend modern design and seaside chic together to create the best modern feel. Guests will also enjoy a new lobby & arrival experience, new concepts for our restaurant & bars and flexible, tech-savvy meeting rooms.


Can I access the hotel and car parking as normal, and where is check-in?

The hotel driveway and carpark will remain accessible throughout the renovation. Access from Arden Street (via the Oceans Terrace) will be closed throughout the renovation. At certain phases during the renovation, our check-in desk may be temporarily relocated, however the check-in area will remain on the ground floor at all times.


What time is check-in and check-out?

Times will be as normal – Check-in will be at 3pm and check-out at 11am.


What are my dining options?

Full Buffet Breakfast will be served in the Oceanic Guest Lounge between (6:30am – 10am) on weekdays and between (6:30am – 10:30am) on weekends.

All day dining, barista coffees and drinks will be served in the Oceanic Lounge from (6:30am till late).

Will there be any meeting rooms available?

Daytime: As our conference floor is being refurbished and there are noisy works during the day, we will not be taking any day meeting or conference bookings during the main renovation period.

Evenings and Sundays: Should we have any clients wishing to have an event on an evening or on a Sunday, the Oceanic West room will be available.
